Vins Ravents is the still-wine project of the Ravents family, the Peneds dynasty better known for sparkling. Here they turn their attention to indigenous Catalan grapes farmed on the family estate, and Malvasia de Sitges is one of the rarest of them a near-vanished local white that has been quietly nurtured back from the brink. Vinya la Plana is a single parcel, and the resulting wine is a snapshot of a grape and a place that almost disappeared. Aromatic, textured, and unmistakably Mediterranean.
