What lands in the glass is all-Verdejo and unfussy: citrus, orchard fruit, and that faintly herbal, bitter-almond snap that separates real Rueda from generic white wine. No oak, no ambition to be anything other than delicious and cold. This is a case-buy white for a long summer.
