Clos du Cailleret is Ramonet’s monopole on the Chassagne hillside, a walled parcel within the larger Cailleret climat that they own outright. Cailleret sits on the midslope just south of the Puligny border, and the wines lean more toward Puligny’s tension and precision than Chassagne’s richness. In 2022, a vintage of ripe fruit balanced by good acid, the Cailleret shows the racy line and the chalky cut that make this site famous, with the depth and concentration only a Ramonet monopole delivers. Aged in around a third new oak.
