Domaine de Montille is one of the Cote de Beaune’s most revered producers, with Etienne now steering the house toward purity and precision. Saint-Christophe is his village Meursault assembled from three lieux-dits sitting mid-slope on the hill the locals call Montagne Saint-Christophe: Les Casse-Tetes for cut and minerality, Les Petits Charrons for generosity, and Les Narvaux du Dessous for complexity. The blend hits a register well above standard village Meursault, with the saline tension of Casse-Tetes pulling against the rounder, hazelnut-skinned fruit of the lower parcels. Biodynamically farmed, aged a year in barrel then finished in tank for freshness. Drink now through 2032.
