Still no oak, just steel, but there’s more weight here, more depth, and a mineral, almost iodine-like character that keeps unfolding as the wine sits in the glass. Vigne Surrau built its reputation on this bottle, and it remains their calling card. Give it a little time and a real glass, not a tumbler.
