Nicolas Faure trained at Domaine de la Romanee-Conti and Prieure-Roch before starting his own micro-domaine, which took shape around 2014. Based in Meuilley in the Hautes Cotes, he farms a tiny vineyard across prestigious appellations with rare exacting standards. This is Chardonnay from Les Vignes Blanches in Pernand-Vergelesses, a cooler, higher village on the Corton hill known for crisp, age-worthy whites. Production is minuscule, so grab it when you can. The 2024 is fresh and mineral; drink over the next several years or give it short cellar time.
