Single-vineyard Jura Chardonnay from contrasting soils. Les Follasses is planted in two directions on two different marls: one section on white marl (northwest-southeast), the other on red marl mixed with white marl (perpendicular). Michel Gahier (family in Montigny-ls-Arsures since 1525) presses directly into foudre without winter topping, allowing a natural, gently oxidative development. Biodynamic, certified Nature & Progrs. Jura Chardonnay is locally called ‘Melon d’Arbois’same grape, different terroir expression than Burgundy. This will age gracefully for a decade.
