A clever creation from Damien Colin: a blend drawn from five different Saint-Aubin 1er Cru climats – En Creots, Charmois, Les Combes, Les Castets, and Sous Roche Dumay. The idea is to capture the broader personality of Saint-Aubin in a single bottle rather than focus on one site. Vinified in barrel with around 25% new oak, the wine combines the cooler, more chiseled side of the appellation with riper, rounder material from south-facing parcels. 2021 was a tense, classically built vintage that suits this style beautifully – cool, layered, and built for the table.
