La Rogerie is the grower Champagne project of Justine Boxler and Francois Petit, working tiny grand cru holdings in the Cote des Blancs. This is a Blanc de Blancs from the Chemin de Chalons site, a parcel straddling Avize and Cramant, so 100% Chardonnay from prime chalk. The house style is low-intervention and precise, the kind of bubbly that reads like terroir through a magnifying glass. Expect citrus, orchard fruit and a chalky, saline cut, with a fine bead and a bone-dry finish. A serious grower fizz for the Champagne obsessed.
