Aligot is Burgundy’s other white grape long the underdog to Chardonnay and in the hands of Vincent Dureuil-Janthial it becomes something serious. This is old-vine Aligot from Rully, where the Dureuil family has been working the soil since the 13th century. Certified organic, hand-harvested, farmed by the lunar calendar, and vinified with the same precision Vincent brings to his top cuves (he’s one of Burgundy’s most quietly respected mentors). The result has the cut and energy Aligot is loved for, plus a depth and density most examples never reach.
