A singular quarter-hectare parcel at the top of the Clos des Aigrots hill yields this refined Chardonnay, one of only four producers permitted to use the “Clos” designation here. Aromas of minty pear, white flowers, and almonds introduce a medium-bodied wine pressed whole-cluster and aged 15 months in 0-10% new barrels. The light-colored clay and limestone soil creates a wine of ample structure and tangy precision.
