Clos de la Barre is the monopole that sits within the walls of Lafon’s own cellar in Meursault quite literally the home vineyard. The clos has its own personality: a bit more chiseled and stony than the village blend, with a stricter line through the middle. Dominique Lafon’s hand here is unmistakable: classic Meursault richness shaped by organic, biodynamic farming and long levage.
