One of the joys of Domaine de Montille one of the Cte de Beaune’s most revered estates, organic since 1995 and biodynamic for nearly two decades is how good even their entry-level Bourgognes are. This Bourgogne Blanc is often better than many other producers’ village-level wines, sourced from parcels around the Cte that punch well above the appellation. Etienne de Montille’s signature house style is all here in miniature: purity, freshness, gentle extraction, and a chiseled mineral spine. A serious little white from a great address.
