It comes from the Macduff Distillery, a coastal maker whose spirit leans bright rather than heavy. Green apple and orchard fruit run through the nose over a soft cereal note; the palate turns creamy, with honey, toffee and a late dusting of dry spice. The finish is short and clean, more fruit than oak.
