La Salvacin rescues and celebrates century-old Godello vines scattered among Menca in Bierzo’s historic vineyard. These ancient vines flourish at 680 meters in the northern highlands of Arganza on clay and slate soils. The grapes were direct-pressed and fermented in 500-liter oak barrels, then aged on the lees for a full year without stirring. The result is an intense, lemony white with powerful candied lemon and pebble notes, balanced by saline minerality and remarkable freshness.
