The Treos Ternion Dessert Wine 500ml is a fortified dessert wine produced in Southern Ontario, Canada. It is a blend of three grape varietals, and is made using the solera method of aging. This method is similar to the process used in Spain to produce Sherry and Port. The blend includes Vidal, Cabernet Franc, and Chardonnay. The wine has an intense, honey-like aroma and is incredibly rich and sweet, with flavors of candied stone fruit, toffee, caramels, and roasted nuts. This fortified dessert wine pairs well with crme brlee, rich chocolate desserts and roasted almonds. It is best served chilled or at room temperature.
