A Sir Peter Blake collage wraps The Macallan An Estate, A Community and A Distillery, a limited-edition Highland single malt Scotch from the Anecdotes of Ages Collection. Blake the British pop artist behind some of the most recognizable album art of the twentieth century built the label from imagery of the Speyside estate, marking his third collaboration with the distillery across nearly four decades. The whisky underneath is bottled at 47.7% and drinks the way the label looks: layered. Dried fruits and clove on the nose, treacle and cracked black pepper on the palate, a long cinnamon-and-cacao finish. A collector’s bottle first, but one worth opening for a milestone worth remembering.
