Tequila Ocho Extra Aejo La Caada 2022 is a single-estate tequila from the La Caada field, 12.5 km northeast of Los Alambiques Distillery at 2,115 meters elevation in the Jalisco highlands every Tequila Ocho release is tied to one specific field and harvest year. This bottling is aged three years in American oak barrels previously used for bourbon, made entirely from 100% Blue Weber agave. Three years is a long rest for tequila, pushing it into genuine extra aejo depth: oak, caramel, and dark agave character well beyond a standard reposado or aejo. Bottled at 40% ABV. Sip it neat, no salt or lime.
