A celebration of tequila innovation,born from 11 generations of mastery.Maestro Dobel 50 Extra Aejo Cristalino was created to commemorate the 50th birthday of founder Juan Dobel.

Maestro Dobel 50 Cristalinois handcrafted in the lowlands of Jalisco, Mexico, using 100% Blue Weber Agaves expertly grown and sourced from a single family-owned estate.

It is aged in American and Eastern European oak barrels for a minimum of three years.

Tasting Notes:

Colour: To the eye, this perfectly clear cristalino extra-anejo sparkles with steel and platinum reflections. This is the result of the final filtration process that removes the color.

Aroma:On the nose, a compelling marriage of caramel, honey, cooked agave and dried fruit, such as fig and quince, emerge, with hints ofchocolate,tobaccoand sweets that make for an enticing, aromatic scent. Some herbal notes add a touch of freshness and lightness with a hint of lingeringvanillaandnutmegon the finish.

Palate:Discover a creamy and full flavor, with notes of fig, quince, date, pineapple and pumpkin with the pleasing aftertaste of cinnamon, vanilla and cloves left on the tongue.

Finish:The voluminous, rich taste fills the palette with a smooth, silky sensation which is the result of an innovative, proprietary refinement process that prevents the bitter notes of the barrel from impeding on the elegance of the aromas.

“There are lots of sweet notes on the nose, specifically caramel and milk chocolate. There are some cooked apples and gentle spices with the cooked agave peeking out from time to time. The body is average weight on your palate with the tasting profile leaning on the medium sweet side. However, there’s a little agave bite there at the finish bringing some pleasant bitterness to tame down the sweet a tad. The chocolate returns on the finish as well.
