Another single-site Blanc de Blancs from La Rogerie, the grower project of Justine Boxler and Francois Petit in the Cote des Blancs. Haut de Moulin is one of their grand cru parcels in Avize, all Chardonnay grown on deep chalk, vinified with minimal intervention. The aim here is transparency: a Champagne that tastes like the place it comes from. Expect taut citrus and white orchard fruit, a fine mineral salinity and a precise, bone-dry finish with a delicate mousse. This is grower Champagne at its most site-driven.
