Setting out to push the boundaries of what Scotch Whisky could be, Johnnie Walker Master Blender Emma Walker and Japanese chef Kei Kobayashi have encapsulated the enigmatic taste of umami. Only one in25,000 casks succeed in bringing this limited edition blend to life.

Weve honed our craft into a precision process that respects the many elements shaping a Scotch Whiskys final flavour and character, including the type of grains and yeast used, the shape of the still, and the length of time its matured in the cask.

Enjoy a spoon of Oscietra Caviar, ensuring the caviar coats the palate. Once swallowed, take a small sip of the whisky, let that intermingle with the flavors of the caviar, take 10-15 seconds to reflect on the waves of flavor on the palate and savor slowly. Repeat in this order, responsibly.

Tasting Notes:

Aroma: Notes of blood oranges and red berries, with sweet wood spice.

Appearance: A deep golden colour thats burnished in the light.

Palate: Rich caramelised miso notes, including tropical top notes of grilled pineapple, rich cacao and blackberry tannin.

Finish: Cleansing mineral salinity gives way to a long, sweet, fruit finish.

On the palate, find dark chocolate, salted pretzels, dried red fruits, vanilla pudding, tannic oak, and a hint of truffles.
