The Hazelburn Sherry Wood is an annually released limited edition matured exclusively in Oloroso Sherry casks.

The annually released Hazelburn Sherry Wood range provides a stark contrast to the fully Bourbon matured Hazelburn 10 year old. Matured in 100% Oloroso Sherry casks, this 15 year old release is a complex, full-bodied dram.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Notes of cherry menthol, red cola, date syrup and black forest gateaux welcome us to this fully Oloroso matured Hazelburn. Soft fudge and caramel notes develop over time.

Palate: Rich yet balanced on the palate, there are notes of toffee apple, leather-bound books, demerara sugar and creme brulee.

Finish: A lingering finish, there are notes of rum-soaked raisins and vanilla sponge.
