Waterhorse Ridge sits among California’s coolest Cabernet vineyards, where 25-year-old vines produce one of the state’s most distinctive expressions of the variety. The 2022 benefited from the lowest crop the vineyard has ever yielded, concentrating flavors and freshness in equal measure: black cherry and lilac intermingle with pencil lead, fresh ground coffee, and candied mushroom notes. At just 13.9% alcohol and only 130 cases produced, this wine proves that coolness and power coexist beautifully.
