Frdric and David Giachino farm 15 hectares in Savoie under full organic and biodynamic certification, working alpine slopes around Mont Granier. Monfarina, named for a traditional Piedmontese dance, is their flagship white: roughly 70% Jacqure with Verdesse (~20%) and Mondeuse Blanche (~10%), made without added sulfites. It captures everything we love about mountain whites, brisk acidity, transparent fruit, and a saline pull from the limestone scree. The 2022 is fresh and energetic, the kind of bottle that disappears with raclette, river fish, or just a cold afternoon on the patio. One of Savoie’s most reliable, soulful introductions.
