This Five Year Old bottling is distilled at 54% ABV, before first aging in a new cask made of local wood from the Gasony forest for a about one year. It is then moved into older Gascon wood barrels for the remainder of the aging process. As per regulation, the youngest Armagnac in the blend has been aged 5 years in gascon oak, with other Armagnacs in the blend showing greater age.
