Maxime Cottenceau represents a new generation of Burgundy winemakerstrained by renowned Vincent Dureuil, farming his parents’ vineyard organically while following the lunar calendar. This Chardonnay comes from eastern-facing vines with over 20 years of age, hand-harvested and fermented with indigenous yeast in temperature-controlled tank, then aged 18 months on its lees. The result is a naturally-made white with minerals, citrus, and subtle stone fruit characterpure Cte Chalonnaise expression.
