Once in a decade, if we are lucky, we discover an exceptional variety of potato that produces an unrivaled vodka.

Our 2016 growing season led to some of the finest vodkas ever made by our distillery. Harvested at the peak of summer, when still young and their skins still tender, these potatoes would produce a remarkable vodka.

After being carefully distilled to retain as much of their sweet earthiness as possible, the potato spirit was rested in 50-year-old oak barrels for two years, giving it time to mellow before being bottled by hand.

The result is Chopin Family Reserve, the worlds first rested, super-premium potato vodka. We suggest enjoying it neat or in a classic martini to fully appreciate this remarkable vodka.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Hints of spice accenting a gentle sweet musk.
• Taste: Gentle earthy sweetness from the open, with understated top notes of licorice and clove.
• Finish: Medium-long finish with lingering warmth.

Chopin Family Reserve Vodka is a premium vodka made from potatoes grown in the family’s own fields in the Podlasie region of Poland. It is distilled four times and filtered through birch charcoal for a smooth, clean finish. The vodka is bottled at 40% ABV and is best enjoyed neat or in a classic vodka martini.
