Yonder names its ciders after places on the Washington map, Cashmere and Vantage and Palisades and Coulee, and Mazama sits out past the North Cascades, which is about right for how this one drinks. It is their spring cider: bright botanicals up front, orange peel through the middle, and a soft pear note that arrives late and quietly. They get there by adding Winesap and Marie Menard to a house blend of Fuji, Honeycrisp and Granny Smith, the Winesap for citrusy lift and the Marie Menard, a French bittersweet, for grip on the finish. The fruit comes from Wenatchee and around the Pacific Northwest, and the whole thing lands juicy and bright rather than sweet. That is the Yonder approach in general: build it like a cocktail, but keep the apple in charge. 6.9% ABV, four 16oz cans, and no instructions beyond cold.
