The Yellowstone Toasted Bourbon Special Finishes Collection was created to celebrate the collaboration between two of the great Midwestern craft distilleries, Yellowstone Distilling Co. and Jeffersons Bourbon. This collection includes special finished variations of original Jeffersons Bourbon finished in oak barrels from Yellowstone Distilling Co. Each variation in the collection was derived from a different sized barrel, with a unique toasting level.Each Limited Edition 750ml bottle is marked with an individual batch number for authenticity and display the distinctive bottles of both Yellowstone and Jeffersons. The Toasted Bourbon Special Finishes Collection is an one of a kind collaboration between two distilleries.First, the original Jeffersons Bourbon is carefully selected and transferred into select 53 gallon barrels (also known as virgin oak barrels) crafted by Yellowstone Distilling Co. Once accumulated in the 53s, the bourbon is transferred to new and innovative barrel sizes, toasted to different levels intended to amplify unique flavor profiles.Finally, after two years in the unique barrels, the special bourbons are transferred to a master blending tank and ellagered for an additional period of time. Each batch is unique; a true representation of the skills of both whiskey makers.The resulting Toasted Bourbon Special Finishes Collection from Yellowstone and Jeffersons is truly a one-of-a-kind expression, with distinct taste profiles ranging from smooth and mellow to bold and intense. Each 375 and 750ml bottle of the Limited Edition series proudly displays an individual batch number and signature labels of both distilleries.
