This special edition of the Yamazaki 12 Year Single Malt was released to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Yamazaki Distillery. It is aged for 12 years in a combination of American White Oak and Japanese Mizunara Oak casks, and is bottled at 43% ABV. Unlike the usual offering, this expression is not chill-filtered, leaving it more flavoursome. On the nose it offers notes of melon, floral and pine wood, while the palate consists of yellow fruit, marshmallow, honey and spices. The finish is long and dry with lingering notes of toffee and oak.
