The Masters Collection expressions have always reflected what is different from Woodford Reserve core bourbon. In this release its the chocolate malt content that makes it different.

Rye was malted, and in the malting process the grain had to be dried out. The malt house turned up the temperature of the drying kiln and that caramelized the malt sugar in the ryewhen its roasted and toasted it tastes like chocolate. This one is 60% corn, 15% choc malted rye and 15% standard distillers malt.
