This is the second batch of Wolves Winter Run Rye Whiskey from Wolves Whiskey. This whiskey is made from a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley. It is aged for at least two years in new, charred American oak barrels. The whiskey has a deep amber color and a nose of sweet caramel, toasted oak, and baking spices. On the palate, it is smooth and creamy with notes of vanilla, cinnamon, and clove. The finish is long and warming with a hint of pepper. This whiskey is perfect for sipping neat or in a classic cocktail.
