Wolves Wally’s Blend is an American blended whiskey built on an unusual base: two whiskies distilled from finished craft beer, married with rye and an American single malt aged in French oak. Wolves works with Charbay to assemble those components into something that drinks closer to a malt than a bourbon. Expect cereal grain and cocoa on the nose, a malty chocolate sweetness cut by rye spice through the middle, and a warm finish that carries a faint hop echo from its brewing roots. This was a small, numbered batch, so bottles do not come back once they sell. Pour it neat and give it air; the beer-derived layers open as the glass sits, which makes it a talking-point bottle for a tasting.
