Wolves Whiskey Spring Run, Batch Two, is a blend of 11-year-old stout whiskey, 7-year-old pilsner whiskey, and 6-year-old rye whiskey all distilled from craft beer rather than a standard grain mash, on a rare copper brandy still imported from Cognac. Master Distiller Marko Karakasevic, 13th generation, runs the still in Sonoma County. The heavy pilsner content pushes a bold, dark-chocolate and coffee character through the mid-palate, with orange bitters trailing into a long finish. Bottled at 104 proof. This is a genuinely unusual whiskey built from beer-still lineage rather than bourbon or rye tradition. Pour it neat to taste the blend fully.
