This whiskey is made from a blend of two different rye whiskeys, one aged for 12 years and the other aged for 15 years. The whiskey is then finished in Japanese Mizunara oak barrels for an additional 6 months. The result is a complex and flavorful whiskey with notes of spice, oak, and vanilla. The Katakana Edition is bottled at a cask strength of 115.2 proof and is limited to only 1,000 bottles.
