WhistlePig FarmStock Beyond Bonded is a single-barrel straight rye whiskey grown, distilled, and aged on the brand’s Vermont farm. It goes past bottled-in-bond one distillery, one season, over four years old using 100% estate-grown Danko rye and new Vermont estate oak, bottled at a fixed 100 proof. That barrel gives it vanilla, roasted chestnut, and a whiff of cigar box on the nose, then oak, toffee, baking spice, and a crme-brle sweetness across the palate. The finish stays warm and holds its rye spice. As a single barrel it shifts bottle to bottle, though it always lands at 100 proof. Pour it neat to read the grain, or over one large cube after dinner.
