The wine comes from the French Saumur, in the Loire Valley, where wines have been made since the 17th century.
Veuve Amiot’s sparkling wines are produced according to the world-famous “Mthode Traditionelle”.Because the grapes do not come from the Champagne region, they are called Saumur wines.
Here, on the low calcareous mountain slopes of the Loire, the grapes for Veuve Amiot grow under perfect conditions. Only top quality grapes of the Chenin, Cabernet and Chardonnay varieties may be used. Pour chilled into a flute glass.
