Nose: Powerful, with a noticeable nose tickle. Melon punch, green banana, and tart cherry notes mingle with sticky caramel apple. It’s really cool.

Palate: Light and airy. Red apple skins, tannic oak, tart yet dry oaky sugars, toasty corn, and cherry syrup follow a strong tongue burn (no longer tart). Dry, but well-balanced.

Medium length finish. Warming, slightly sweet but muddled, with a muddy palette of flavors. Until fading, a slight bitterness (bitter herbs) emerges, and the finish becomes more dry.

Old Barton 100 proof is a bourbon whiskey produced by the Sazerac Company. It is bottled at 100 proof (50% alcohol by volume) and is aged for a minimum of four years. It is a straight bourbon whiskey, meaning it is made from a mash of at least 51% corn, and is aged in new, charred oak barrels. It is a full-bodied whiskey with a sweet, oaky flavor.
