Tullibardine’s 15 Year Old was distilled following the reopening of the distillery in 2003 and matured in first-fill bourbon casks in traditional warehouses at the foot of the Ochil Hills in Perthshire, Scotland. The nose is delicate and inviting dried hay, parma violets, baked apple, cloves, and vanilla ice cream. On the palate, freshly baked scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream marry with gentle spice, finishing with a subtle nuttiness. A pleasantly nostalgic single malt that captures the warmth of a Scottish summer afternoon.
