A 1989 Tomintoul single malt from indie bottler Douglas Laing, matured in a single ex-bourbon barrel for three decades, before being bottled in April 2020 as part of its Xtra Old Particular series.

Tasting Notes:

Nose:Rich, darkly malted, intriguingly spiced and fruity on its typically Speyside nose.

Palate:Warming and ginger spiced as the big palate opens showing later Muscovado sugar and the gentlest oak – all running to a stewed fruit and vanilla custard finish.
