50% new French oak aging. Garnet slash dark cherry in color. Lovely, expressive nose full of ripe blackberry, blueberry pie and vanilla with background notes of mint and pencil shavings. Lush, rich flavors of brambly red fruits, ripe plum and bakers chocolate. Finishes long with fine tannins and notes of cassis, orange peel and vanilla.
