The Xtra Old Particular Macallan 30 years old 1990 is a Speyside single malt from The Macallan distillery bottled in the Xtra Old Particular series by the independent bottler Douglas Laing.

This Macallan was distilled in February 1990 and matured in refill hogshead DL 14631. It was bottled in January 2021 at natural cask strength of 44,4% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 209 bottles.

Tasting Notes:

Nose:delicate with burnt sugar, citrus fruit, wood, autumn fruit and barley

Palate:mellow and subtle with a hint orange, Christmas spices, copper, gingerbread and liquorice with orange zests

Finish:elegant and slightly spiced
