This whiskey is made from batches of single sherry cask malt whiskey that have been aged in traditional ex-bourbon and new quarter-cask vessels. The result is a wonderfully complex and flavorful whiskey, with notes of dried fruit, nutty sherry, and toast that melt into a rich and mellow finish. Its aging in sherry casks lends it a rich mahogany color, with a nose of dried fruit, vanilla, and toasted oak. It’s an exceptionally balanced whiskey, perfectly suited for sipping or as part of a classic cocktail.
