Felipe started distilling small batches of tequila for family and friends in 1994 at his uncles ranch in Jalisco, Mexico but his family tradition of making tequila dates back to the 1920’s when his grandfather, Roberto Mares Sr., and his family arrived from Mexico.

Darren, a serial entrepreneur with a love for car racing, teamed up with Felipe in 2017 and have broadened their circle of loyal Amigos who enjoy The Bad Stuff, in addition to paving the way for new products including a Reposado, Blanco, and even a 12 year tequila!

The Bad Stuff La Mala Reposado is a premium tequila made from 100% blue agave. It is aged for six months in American oak barrels, giving it a smooth, mellow flavor. The tequila has a light golden color and a sweet, fruity aroma. It has a smooth, creamy texture and a slightly sweet finish.
