This release from Teeling Whiskey is the second in the brand’s Renaissance range, following the success of its Revival range. Volume 2 has matured for 18 years in total, first in ex-bourbon barrels and the final 18 months in ex-Australian shiraz wine casks.

Tasting Notes:

Nose:Sun-dried raisins, cherry Bakewells, cinnamon sticks and rounded malt.

Palate:More juicy cherry notes, supported by strawberries and cream, black pepper, buttery vanilla and sponge cake.

Finish:Red fruit lasts, balanced by a touch of toasted cedar.
