A French gin built around figs. Produced in the medieval town of Brive-la-Gaillarde in southern France, Sweet Gwendoline undergoes four distillations. After the second distillation, fresh figs are macerated into the spirit, and French wine is added following the fourth and final distillation. The seven botanicalsfig, sweet orange, cardamom, angelica seed, lime, coriander, and junipercreate a gin that’s distinctly French in personality: aromatic, slightly fruity, and polished. 40% ABV. Distributed in the U.S. by Frederick Wildman.
