Stamnaki means “little wine jug” in Greek, and it’s the in-house project of Eklektikon, an importer that works exclusively with tiny family producers across Greece. The brief is simple: indigenous grapes, single varieties, honest winemaking. Here that means 100% Agiorgitiko (the “St. George’s grape” famous from Nemea) grown across the Peloponnese, fermented in stainless with about ten days of skin contact, no oak. The result is fresh, fruit-forward, low-key serious. An easy entry point to Greek reds.
