A 2007 Taurasi with nearly two decades of bottle agefrom one of Campania’s benchmark Aglianico producers. Salvatore Molettieri’s family cultivated Aglianico in Montemarano for over a century before he began bottling in 1988, driven by necessity when the post-earthquake grape market collapsed. The Vigna Cinque Querce vineyard sits at 500550 meters on clay-limestone soils. Aged 48 months in a combination of large oak casks and French barriques. At this age, the wine has shed its youthful austerity and entered a window of complex, evolved drinking.
