It seems every August we make our pilgrimage to Lawrenceburg, KY to visit my favorite distillery on the planet. Here are the latest single barrels we selected last August 2024, with an incredible team dropping this Friday!

TASTING NOTES:

This one needs time to open up. It started off a bit tight. But when it does… Here we go

• Nose: A lot of sweet oak. More than the CNE. Vanilla, orange herbal tea, a hint of maple, clove, and black cherry.
• Palate: Ohhh…this one is rich and sweet and layered. Sweet oak and vanilla extract kick things off which leads to heavy caramel, strawberry jam, brown sugar, and more sweet oak. Medium to long finish w/ cherry cola, clove, spice and slight leather. Syrupy mouth feel as well.
