A 2002vintage rhum vieux agricole from the Distillerie JM Crassous de Medeuil in Martinique. Bottled from bourbon wood in 2011.

Agricole is a style of rum traditionally produced on the French Caribbean islands. It is distilled using freshly squeezed sugar cane juice as opposed to molasses.

Tasting Notes:

• Color: Deep gold.
• Nose: Vegetable aromas, fine wood, notes of orange, green pepper, a good overall balance.
• Taste: Flavors of nuts, spice notes, long and silky finish.
